Drama

With Drama taking place as a discrete subject it can often be overlooked as part of the school day. The implications of students being taught drama well lead far beyond a fantastic leavers assembly or Christmas play. The confidence that your students will learn by standing up as themselves, or even in character mean they have access to a space in which to explore ideas and gain confidence in themselves- especially in terms of public speaking, that can often be overlooked. By giving each and every child the opportunity to move 'outside' of themselves you are encouraging the part of the brain used for creative writing and imagination that we so long for and enjoy in our young people.  All our staff have access to current CPD to ensure they are current with all learning strategies.  Our teachers will offer assessment on your students, along with lesson plan overviews, in a pro-forma style so that your staff can easily access their learning journey.
